About Us

This site exists due to a whole online and offline community: family, friends, peers, subject-matter-experts, and site visitors. This interacting community is what makes this site so enjoyable and useful.

This is not a "corporate site," and we want to have a personal relationship with our visitors. Therefore, please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Cory, and I have the distinguished honor of being the Executive Editor of this site. I have always had a passion for sports and fitness, and now it is my delight to share this passion with the online community. I will be your key guide, and the prominent "voice" of Winning-Fitness.com as you browse through the pages of the site.

A quick background note to put some perspective with the "voice" that you hear on this site: I am now (recently) over 40 years old, and have spent most of my life involved in sports, exercise, fitness, and nutrition - not as a career, but as an extremely important, integral part of my life. This means that I fully understand the challenges of balancing fitness with the other parts of life (job, kids, house, etc). I have lived those challenges and so I can relate to others wrestling with those challenges. It is my goal, and my pleasure, to help others attain their fitness goals.
